Tools & Materials

Gather the following items before starting:

  • Wheel adapters
  • Lug nuts
  • Torque wrench (avoid using an impact gun)
  • Jack and jack stands
  • Lug wrench
  • Socket set
  • Thread locker (optional)
  • Wheel cleaner & microfiber towels

Step-by-Step Installation

1. Prepare Your Vehicle

  • Park on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Loosen the lug nuts but do not fully remove them.

2. Lift the Vehicle

  • Use a jack to lift the vehicle and place it securely on jack stands.

3. Remove the Wheels

  • Take off the lug nuts and remove the wheels.

4. Clean & Inspect

  • Clean the hub using wheel cleaner and microfiber towels.
  • Inspect the hub and adapter for damage or uneven surfaces.

5. Install the Wheel Spacers/Adapters

  • Place the adapter on the hub, aligning the holes.
  • Ensure it sits flush.
  • Hand-tighten the lug nuts.
  • If studs stick past the adapter, trim them down.
  • Torque the nuts in a crisscross pattern to spec.

6. Mount the Wheels

  • Install the wheels onto the adapter studs.
  • Hand-tighten the lug nuts.
  • Use a torque wrench to secure them properly.

7. Final Check

  • Lower the vehicle and spin each wheel by hand.
  • After driving ~50 miles, retorque the lug nuts.

8. Optional: Use Thread Locker

  • Apply thread locker to adapter bolts for added security, if desired.
